Kursus ini merangkumi pelaksanaan program Pendidikan Khas, prosedur penempatan murid-murid berkeperluan khas, struktur organisasi di peringkat Kementerian, Jabatan Pendidikan Negeri dan sekolah. Pelaksanaan program Pendidikan Khas di peringkat sekolah diberi penekanan. Peranan guru dan pentadbir, peruntukan kewangan, khidmat sokongan serta penilaian program Pendidikan Khas dibincang.
This course covers the implementation of Special Education programs, placement procedures for children with special needs, organizational structure of the Special Education Department in the Ministry of Education, the State Education Department and the school. The implementation of Special Education programs in schools is given emphasis. The role of teachers and administrators, budget allocation, support services as well as evaluation of Special Education programs are also discussed.
